Introducing Smokey Mountain Auctions, LLC, the premier auction company set to launch in January 2024. Based in Tazewell, TN, we are the go to destination for all your real estate and personal property auction needs in Tennessee and Kentucky. We will use a unique approach to advertise our auctions. We have a contact system that enables us to promote our auctions nationwide with a click of the button. We will use our contact system to attract bidders and encourage real agents across the country to register bidders for our real estate auctions by offering any realtor who registers the winning bidder 50% of our commission. This will ensure that you will get top dollar for your real estate. We will also target bidders for personal property auctions with our contact list to ensure a maximum amount of bidders will be attracted to the auction. Lastly, we will simulcast our auctions to enable local residents to attend the auction in person and people outside the community to bid online.

Brandon Kibert

Brabdon Kibert

I am a lifelong resident of Claiborne County Tennessee. I attended Thomas Walker Highschool and graduated in 2004. I subsequentially attended Union College in Barbourville Kentucky and graduated in May of 2008. I then attended Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia, earned a graduate degree in 2011, and began working in an office.  

 

 During the covid pandemic shutdowns, I had a lot of down time and decided to pursue a career in real estate.  I obtained a Kentucky Realtor’s license in October of 2021, and a Tennessee Realtor’s license in 2022.    


During this time period, I also attended the Kentucky Auction Academy and graduated in May of 2022. I subsequentially obtained a Kentucky Auctioneer’s license in 2022, and a Tennessee Auctioneer’s license 2024.

Allen Mayes

Allen was born and raised in Claiborne County Tennessee. He attended Powell Valley Highschool and graduated in 1973. After graduating Highschool, he worked for local 46 as an insulator until he retired in 2004. 


After retiring, Mr. Mayes attended Walter State School of Auctioneering in 2004 and graduated in May of 2004. He sequentially got his apprentice auctioneers license and served as an apprentice auctioneer for Teresa Gayles, and obtained his Principal Auctioneers license in 2005. 


Mr. Mayes has been in the auction industry for over 18 years, and has primally auctioned land and estate personal and real property. Over the course of his 18-year career as an auctioneer, he has participated in thousands of auctions.   

 

Allen is enjoying his retirement and frequently fishes and catches Crappie at Norris Lake. 

Catherine Odoom Adu-Gyamfi — Office Assistant

Catherine Office Assistant — Tazewell, TN — Smokey Mountain Auctions, LLC

Catherine is originally from Ghana and lived most of her life in Accra, the capital of Ghana. She attended Okuapemman Senior High School in Ghana from 2016 to 2019. She subsequently attended Ola College of Education in Ghana and graduated in 2023 earning a bachelor’s degree in education.


While she was pursuing her degree in education, she spent her holiday breaks teaching children.


Catherine is greatly interested in the auction industry and is considering getting licensed to be an auctioneer and a realtor.


In her spare time, Catherine likes to swim, hike, read, and watch animated movies.
